A resounding success
The first Brixham Business Show, organised by Pauline Neal on behalf of Brixham Chamber and Brixham Means Business and was held at the Berry Head hotel on 22nd September and was a resounding success, with over 60 delegates chatting about business with the 32 exhibitors whose businesses were in Brixham and Torbay.
The wide range of businesses on show highlighted the business to business opportunities available and the support there is in Brixham and Torbay to run a successful business, whether as a sole trader, self- employed or SME business.
The Brixham Business Show promoted a range of great businesses from the hospitality sector, creative businesses, legal services, financial and accountancy services, Insurance, property and marketing businesses.
The Brixham Business Show was kicked started with an energetic and fun packed speed networking session, superbly managed by Anthony Blackaby This speed networking session gave local business people the chance to discuss their business with other local businesses and create more business opportunities.
The show was officially opened by Carleen Kelemen, OBE, who is Chairman of the Institute of Directors for Devon and Cornwall and was awarded the OBE for Social Justice in the Queen’s Jubilee Honours List.
Pauline is pleased to announce that the exhibitors were unanimous in the call to make Brixham Business Show an annual event as a result of all the positive interaction and discussions they had with other business people and many business people who this year came as delegates are also keen to exhibit next year.
