The next step in the development of the proposed new English Riviera Tourism BID, which if successful could raise £500k per annum for the next 5 years is to draft the new English Riviera Tourism BID Business Plan, and the Steering Group very much want to hear the views of the tourism businesses operating in Brixham and what Brixham’s priorities are in terms of future Destination Marketing activity.
A TBID ballot is planned for this summer, with formal registration made by Laurence Murell as the private sector lead for the development of a dedicated Tourism BID to the Secretary of State. It is a challenging timetable and we need to work together if we are to secure £2.5 million of sustainable funding for the next 5 years to Promote Torbay.
