Devon Chamber of Commerce has announced the introduction of a new Digital Business club, in association with ethical IT business, Cosmic.

The new D-Business Club has been created to provide a forum for businesses to maximise business opportunities through digital activity and share best practice. The first event will be held at South Devon University Technical College, Newton Abbot on Thursday 29th September.

George Cowcher, Chief Executive at Devon Chamber of Commerce said: “Devon has potential to cement itself as a capital for digital business in the UK, and yet the use of digital by the Devon business community is disparate due to the large nature of the county. Devon Chamber of Commerce hopes that by introducing the D-business club, alongside our partners in this activity, Cosmic, that businesses will be able to access more information about the potential of digital business models to enhance practice and profitability.”

At the first D-business club event, Kate Doodson, Joint Chief Executive at Cosmic will share her knowledge and expertise about Digital business and how businesses can adopt a D-business strategy to achieve further success.
