FISH have been hard at work since 2007 raising funds to provide a permanent statue – Man & Boy – to commemorate the lives of fishermen and seafarers lost at sea, and celebrate the wonderful fishing heritage of Brixham.
For their final push, FISH will host two glittering fundraising events this autumn. Firstly, the Grand Autumn Ball on Friday 23 September at The Livermead Cliff Hotel, Torquay overlooking the Bay. Tickets are priced at £45 per person and include a gorgeous four course meal and coffee, with live music and dancing to brilliant local band The Blues Brothers Collective.
Secondly, they are hosting a repeat of their amazingly successful Rockfish FISH Supper (at Rockfish Brixham) on Tuesday 11 October, where Mitch Tonks’ wonderful team of chefs will produce a delicious, freshly cooked three-course meal to the rip-roaring backdrop of fabulous shanty crew The Old Gaffers. Tickets for this event are just £20, which represents amazing value for a fantastic night out in another stunning location.
