We hope you will join us for our next General Meeting on Thursday 24th November at 7pm at the Berry Head Hotel.
On the agenda this month:
- Brixham Banking Hub
Our new Banking Hub should be opening imminently! Town Clerk Tracey Hallett will be updating us on how the hub will work. - Brixham Road – potential closure for much of 2023
Since becoming aware of these plans in October, we have put a lot of time into understanding and questionning the rationale for these plans. We’ve been in touch with our MP, the council, and the developers. At present we have no confidence in the plans for managing traffic in and out of the town.
We have invited representatives of the council and the developers to join us for a Q&A session. - Updates from the Chamber
As usual we will bring the latest news from the Chamber, including local events and our “shop local” Christmas marketing campaign.
You don’t need to be a member to attend the meeting – everyone is welcome.
If you would like to come, it would be helpful if you can let us know in advance at hospitality@brixhamchamber.co.uk or via facebook – https://fb.me/e/2VYwdZLi9
We offer all member businesses the opportunity to make a short, informal presentation about themselves and their businesses at our open meetings.
We have a very wide range of business types within our Chamber and it benefits us all to share our knowledge and experiences and to foster local promotion and trading. In recent meetings we have heard presentations from a web-based mapping and location services provider, a heritage sailing company and a fun and colourful lifestyle brand for babies, kids and teens.
If you would like your business to feature at a future meeting, please email Alex Foley – hospitality@brixhamchamber.co.uk
