I am in my third-year of my Geography degree at the University of Reading. I am starting my dissertation research using questionnaires (through Microsoft Forms) to understand how intensifying storms are affecting businesses in coastal communities in Devon.
My objectives include:
- How climate change has influenced the storms over the last decade
- How coastal communities specifically suffer from storm events
- What types of businesses are impacted the most?
- What measures could be taken to mitigate the effects of storms in coastal communities?
The questionnaire should only take around 10 minutes to complete and if possible, it should be completed by someone who has a good knowledge of the business.
Any help would be much appreciated as this will give me a better understanding of how storms affect businesses in Devon.
