The Plymouth Business Show takes place at Plymouth Pavilions on 11th June. With sponsors including Redrok, and Imagine Direct along with Media partners Heart Radio, The Herald and Western Morning News the event is shaping up to be the biggest showcase yet for ambitious companies in the South West.
Building on the success of the first Plymouth Business Show, held in 2013, this year’s show is set to be bigger and better. With stand bookings ahead of this time last year, a quarter of exhibitor stands for the main arena have already been sold.
Local print and branding company Redrok is supporting the event as Merchandise sponsor, with plans to bring added interest for visitors with their innovative and interactive exhibitor stand which aims to top their ‘sweet stall’ of last year.
David Williams, Managing Director of Redrok said: “Redrok are proud to be an official sponsor of the Plymouth Business Show and especially excited to exhibit as last years event was a huge success for us. I hope the business community will grasp this opportunity to participate in what will be a showcase of what local businesses have to offer.”
Joining Redrok as sponsors is office stationery supplier, Imagine Direct. Imagine will be sponsoring the Bar area of the exhibition, bringing the Imagine business village to the show.
Martin Luck, Owner of Imagine Direct said: “The Imagine Business Village will showcase the very latest products and ideas to make your office work, faster and better. From pens to interactive whiteboards, shredding machines to ergonomic seating, come and see what Imagine can do for you, you will be surprised what you can buy locally, all from one source. ”
The show is also being supported by Heart Radio, who has come on board as Radio Media Partner, illustrating their commitment to supporting local companies. Their support will enable Plymouth Business Show to reach local people across the region, encouraging exhibitors and visitors alike to attend the event on the 11th June.
Suzi Cumberland, Events Manager for Plymouth Chamber of Commerce said: “The Plymouth Business Show is one of the biggest events of the year for local companies. With interest in the show already very high I’d urge any businesses who want to exhibit to contact us as soon as possible to secure their space. We’re aiming to attract over 1000 visitors throughout the day of the event, making the Business Show a fantastic opportunity for organisations to reach many potential customers in one place.”
Furthering support for the business showcase event well known publications The Plymouth Herald and Western Morning News are confirmed as Written Media Partner. With their established audience the Herald and Western Morning News involvement adds further weight behind the Plymouth Business Show’s aim to attract over 1000 visitors to the one day event.
Paul Burton, Editor of The Herald said: “2014 is gearing up to be an extremely positive year for Plymouth and the wider South West, and we’re sure the Business Show will demonstrate that positivity. The Herald prides itself on being a platform for businesses to debate, promote and celebrate themselves are we’re delighted to be part of an event that helps connect with even more businesses and entrepreneurs.”
Plymouth Business Show is free for visitors to attend and will be open from 10am to 4pm on 11th June and will feature a Networking Lunch as well as a variety of interactive activities hosted by exhibitors. Previous exhibitors at the Business Show said:

“The team at Coralline Health would like to thank you for a thoroughly engaging and professional Plymouth Business Show. It was a fantastic event. We had scores of businesses visit our stand and we had some really good conversations with prospective clients. We also saw a lot of existing clients too. We know from our analysis that we have some very positive leads to follow up and we already have appointments to see 5 businesses. The day whizzed by and it was a joy to be part of the event. It was clearly planned very well and the execution lived up to the planning.” Jacqui Shaw, Coralline Health
