We’ve been asked to pass on an open invitation to the Regenerate Devon online Summit next week, July 7-9th.
Experts and leaders from organisations across the county will be discussing the future of the economy.
Over the course of the three days, the event will cover what our economy could look like, and examples of exemplary business practice with tips to embed this into existing practices. It will also bring organisations together to network and take action to rebuild the Devon economy in a socially and ecologically resilient way.
Around three hundred people from social enterprises, statutory bodies, community groups, academics and business owners have already signed up for the event organised by three social enterprise networks, PSEN (Plymouth), Essence (Exeter) and Local Spark (Torbay).
- 3 days
- 13 sessions
- 28 speakers
- 10+ hours of group collaboration
The Summit will take place across 3 days on Tuesday 7th – Thursday 9th July. Each day will be dedicated to a different theme, allowing us all to rise together to take action by day 3.
- Day 1: Visions for a better Devon
- Day 2: Showcasing best practice
- Day 3: Ideas into Action
The final day features internationally renowned economist Kate Raworth, whose ‘doughnut’ model places the emphasis on allowing us to thrive while staying in balance with the planet – a model recently adopted in Amsterdam. There will also be an Open Space session on the final afternoon which will focus specifically on Torbay.
