Brixham-based Sam Moore, with her father Trevor, has just opened their second shop in Bolton Street, Brixham.
Super Saver is a real Aladdin’s Cave of useful household products, pet accessories, DIY and baby items. In fact, they value customer service so highly that if they don’t have what you are looking for, they will do their best to get it for you.
Sam explained “Our first shop, Sam’s Soaps, on Fore Street, has been trading successfully for 3 years and we have been looking for some time for a new retail challenge in Brixham. When these premises became available, we felt it was ideally suited to replace the household goods shop which had recently closed on Fore Street. In fact Lynne Pittam who used to run that shop, was a great help to us.”
“We turned the shop around in less than 7 days from agreeing the lease. I don’t think we have ever worked so hard in such a short time – finding suppliers, sign making, shop fitting, painting, cleaning, polishing and stacking the shelves.
“We aim to stock quality brands at unbeatable prices and our delighted customers consistently tell us we are managing to do just that.
“Although the operation is a real family affair we are so grateful to our group of special friends who are always happy to help us. Brixham really is a close community and without their support we couldn’t have achieved what we have.
“We have also received invaluable help and advice from Brixham Chamber of Commerce who do a wonderful job of bringing together business and business expertise in the town. And at only £35 to join, it is great value for money.”
