On 9th March, the sun shone virtually all day and and there were shoppers aplenty for the first Brixham Sunday Market of the year.
The town centre was very busy with residents and visitors alike enjoying the warm weather and local atmosphere and sampling the wide choice of fresh produce and hand made craft and gift items on offer from the stallholders along the length of Fore Street.
At the end of the day, Jo Choppin who manages the market said “Wow! Today was an amazing day for our first market of the year. Thank you to Brixham Chamber, all the stallholders and local businesses and to all the residents and visitors who came down to enjoy the day.”
And a huge thank you to Jo and all those who helped behind the scenes to make the day such a great success.
The next Sunday Market is on April 13 and, with 36 pitches booked, promises to be even bigger and better (and sunnier!) than ever before.
The following weekend, on Saturday, 19th of April, The Art and Craft Market also returns for the first time in 2014.
